Join Us In Making Positive Change!

We love our volunteers! Sustainable Contra Costa is a primarily volunteer-led organization and there are many ways you can help us to create a more sustainable Contra Costa. Whether you have an hour, a day, or some dedicated time throughout the year, we welcome your participation!

• Subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter, “SCOCO Insights”
• Volunteer on a committee and contribute to the development and execution of our projects! Apply to be a volunteer HERE. For a description of our ongoing volunteer opportunities, look us up on Idealist.org.
• Help plan, produce and publicize events
• Assist with fundraising, graphic design, website development, writing, research, editing, data entry, or outreach to the public about ways to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
• Participate in our hands-on workshops, attend a Community Gathering, or rise to the Cleaner Contra Costa Challenge and pledge your actions.
• Connect at a deeper level, and share your group’s events on the SCOCO Network.
• Become a SCOCO member and support our work, or approach your employer about doing so. It is your support that makes our work possible.

We’d love to hear your ideas! Fill out our volunteer intake form, or Contact us and let’s discover how we can work together.
