On September 18 our community will come together for the 16th Annual Leadership in Sustainability Awards Gala & Fundraiser to celebrate and honor those who demonstrate outstanding commitment and leadership in making Contra Costa communities healthy, beautiful, clean, and resilient. County Supervisor John Gioia will be master of ceremonies, along with other special guests. The awards program also featured our Partners Central Contra Costa Sanitary District presenting their Pollution Prevention Awards, as well as the Contra Costa Green Business Program presenting new and re-certified green businesses.
